Resolving inconsistences

If the authors have significant and valid concerns regarding the reviews they received, the Editorial Board evaluates the objectivity and adherence to academic standards of those reviews. In cases where there are doubts about the objectivity or quality of a review, the Editor-in-Chief may assign additional reviewer(s) to assess the manuscript.

Additional reviewers can also be assigned when the decisions of the reviewers (accept or reject) contradict each other or are substantially incompatible.

Ultimately, the Editor-in-Chief holds the final authority to decide whether the manuscript should be accepted for publication.
